This year, Goodacre UK combined the Securities Industry Conference with The Daily Telegraph Wealth Management Awards.

The Securities Industry Conference took place in the morning and will be followed by a buffet lunch. The Conference is now fully booked each year with some 220 senior representatives from across the Securities and Finance Industry. The Goodacre team continues to strive to enhance the content and secure the best speakers and are delighted to welcome the new London Stock Exchange Chief Executive, Xavier Rolet, and the Chief Executive of the British Bankers Association, Angela Knight as the keynote speakers for this year’s event.

The Daily Telegraph Wealth Management Awards was held in the afternoon, with a celebrity speaker hosting the event. The purpose of the Daily Telegraph Wealth Management Awards is to recognise and promote quality of service from Wealth Managers and Stockbrokers. These awards stand out from any others because the winners are determined by investors themselves. Voting for the awards will commence on 11th September 2009 via the soon to be relaunched Stockbroking Guide website; www.stockbrokingguide.com. The day will conclude with a champagne reception.
